Sometimes it’s just better to keep your mouth shut. A lifetime of embarrassment and ridicule can follow even the greatest person if they shove their foot in their mouth. Check out these celebrities who would have been better off zipping their lips together and throwing away the key.

  • Yeezy would have done a lot better if he kept his temper is check as well as not act so hastily against the paparazzi. From storming the stage at the Video Music Awards to being associated with charges of Grand Theft Auto in Los Angeles, maybe Kanye needs to focus on being a daddy more than a super star.

  • What seems to be the punching bag of PR, Justin Bieber just couldn’t understand what it means to keep his mouth shut. From the videos that have surfaced recently of his smirking while throwing the N-word around like it’s nothing and joking that he will join the Ku Klux Klan to his “bad boy” attitude I think it would be smart of Bieber to cover his mouth, or at least rinse it out with some soap.

  • The Miley train has been off the rails for a while now. From her twisted sense of attention seeking ideas to her just downright crazy lyrics it’s a good idea for Miley to pull into the crazy station and rest for a little bit. Parents, just be thankful that you are not Billy Ray Cyrus right now.

Duane “Dog” Chapman

  • Better known as “Dog The Bounty Hunter”, Duane Chapman came under fire in 2007 when a phone conversation between him and his son leaked to the media. In that conversation Chapman is heard using the N-word referring to his black girlfriend and it all went downhill from there. A&E canceled “Dog The Bounty Hunter” and Chapman made numerous apologies. In 2008 A&E brought back “Dog The Bounty Hunter” with more episodes but ultimately it fizzled out. Things might have been different if Dog would have had a muzzle on but who knows?

Paula Deen

  • When a lawsuit with allegations that Paula Deen had used derogatory racial and sexual remarks towards African-Americans the media latched on and would not let go. Though the case was dismissed by both judge and parties, the damage had been done and Paula lost a majority of her sponsorships. Paula’s interviews were no better and though every media outlet wanted to hear what she had to say Paula should have stayed quit and kept answers short and concise. She might have been marketed across the globe by this point selling her new cook book and array of friend items.

Alec Baldwin

  • The comedic styling of Mr. Baldwin are sometimes only for his own taste. Not only does Baldwin need to keep an eye on his mouth but also on what he posts on social media outlet Twitter. Multiple times Baldwin has started rants on Twitter in which he would have to delete them soon after. Some regarding former New York Police Men and some regarding songs released by Kanye West. Alec Baldwin is a gem no doubt but he needs to work on how he vents his frustration. I recommend a punching bag.

Charlie Sheen

  • Welcome to crazy-town where Charlie Sheen is the mayor. Probably one of the most iconic meltdowns of the 21st Century so far, Charlie Sheen just went insane starting in 2008 when his now ex-wife released three year-old voice mail of Sheen showing his disapproval of his wife during their divorce. After that Ozzy Osbourne would have been proud of that Crazy Train. From interviews with Good Morning America to videos that Sheen posted online, Sheen wouldn’t have the persona he does today if he learned to speak no evil.

Michael Richards

  • “Seinfield” co-star and stand up comedian Michael Richards, otherwise known as Kramer took his comedy a little to far one night. Every comedian has to deal with heckler’s now. It’s a rite of passage for each city and a good comedian can make everyone laugh off the heckling. When Richards yelled the N-word at the heckler he earned monumental amount of negative coverage that he did not need. Shortly after this incident Richards retired from stand-up comedy. Sometimes it’s better for a heckler to let them say what they want rather than retort with a word that may haunt you for the rest of your life.

Mel Gibson

  • If Charlie Sheen is the Mayor of Crazy-Town, than Mel Gibson is the President of the country of Putting Your Foot In Your Mouth. No doubt Mel Gibson is a talented actor but his choice of words sometimes can be down right inhumane. On multiple occasions he has made antisemitic remarks as well as homophobic and racist while either by a recording or being arrested by a police officer. Mel Gibson has gone to professional help but still digs himself a hole in which he can’t get out of. It would be wise of Mel Gibson to kick the bottle and silence his tongue.

Donald Sterling

  • The epitome of “get’s worse by the minute”, Donald Sterling just couldn’t learn to say one thing and be done with it. After a tape being released in April in which Sterling is heard making some racist remarks, the team he owned and players across the NBA showed their disapproval of such acts for the rest of the season. After being banned from the NBA he interviewed with Anderson Cooper in which he apologized for his remarks but ultimately made it worse when he brought up Magic Johnson. Indeed there is no room for such remarks in this day and age but when Sterling’s cards were not in his favor, he should have folded early instead of bluffing his way to ultimately causing his career more harm.
